Marketing Manager
What is the main responsibility?
Ensure that České Budějovice 2028 becomes a brand recognized as a guarantee of high-quality cultural projects both in the Czech Republic and abroad. Build and expand both passive and active awareness of the brand and its values. Additionally, you will be responsible for setting up and managing communication as well as leading the marketing team.
What does the role entail?
- Developing and building the brand of České Budějovice 2028 in the Czech Republic and the EU – shaping the organization's image.
- Responsibility for marketing communication of all projects and collaboration on their implementation.
- Strategic management of all marketing communication activities.
- Strategic management of partnerships with creative, media, and PR agencies, the South Bohemian Tourism Center, the Budějovicko–Hlubocko Association, the Czechtourism Agency, and the marketing departments of the city and region, as well as other cooperating organizations within the promotion and communication of the České Budějovice 2028 project.
- Preparing and managing the marketing budget.
- Setting up and executing internal communication.
- Leading the marketing team.
What do we need from you?
- 3-5 years of experience leading a marketing team or working in a senior position in a marketing agency.
- Proven experience in long-term brand building and knowledge of marketing communication trends.
- Experience in the cultural or non-profit sector is an advantage.
- Experience in managing multiple projects/products under one brand is an advantage.
- English proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
