European Capital of Culture Invites You to a Workshop!

Are you aged 14–19?

Do you live in České Budějovice or attend high school here?

Your opinion matters to us!

Whether you’re into culture, sports, or something else, we want to know what interests you, how you spend your free time, and how we can organize events that you’ll want to attend in Budějovice.

Join our workshop and be part of preparing the biggest cultural event in our city's history!

At the workshop:

• We’ll ask questions to get to know high school students like you better. Don’t worry, there won’t be any public presentations!
• Based on your input, we’ll try to design programs for you to evaluate.
• You’ll have the chance to comment on what you liked, what you didn’t, and how it could be improved.
• Your feedback will help us enhance the cultural program in the city to make it more interesting for you and your friends!

📅 Date: Wednesday, August 21, from 9 AM to 4 PM.

📍 Location: Prostor Beseda, Na Sadech 2036/18.

🌟 During the day, there will be a several-hour break with a free lunch provided.

🎁 Reward: Tickets and vouchers for events in the city (list of venues below).

Organized by the European Capital of Culture 2028, with representatives from Jihočeské divadlo, Alšova Jihočeská galerie, Hvězdárna a planetária, Jihočeská vědecká knihovna, Biograf Kotva, Žižkárna, and Umění ve městě.

The workshop is a unique concept created by our colleagues from Impact Foundation.
