Lucie Bílková

While studying at the J. V. Jirsík Gymnasium, she started organising the Budweis Majáles and her love for culture and the city has never left her. She continued her studies in Arts Management at the University of Economics, where she was involved in the dramaturgy and production of many sketches. In 2014 she co-founded the Prague celebrations of November 17th at Korzo Národní, and since 2019 she has been leading the project Samet na školách (Velvet at school), both within the framework of the association Díky, že můžem (Thanks, because we can). For this work, she was ranked in Forbes magazine's 30 under 30 list. She has worked at the McCann agency in Prague on projects promoting South Bohemia as a tourist destination. After a year's stay and work in Berlin, she continued her studies with a Master's degree in Civil Societies at FHS UK. For her, the city's inhabitants are at the centre of her work. She is in charge of involving them in the preparation of the candidacy and promoting community life in the city.
