Open Season: On Accessibility in Culture
In September, we are organizing the first edition of the Open Season project, which focuses on accessibility in culture. We will address the barriers faced by people with disabilities—whether in cultural buildings, outdoor venues where cultural events take place, during cultural programs, or in the communication of our organizations. We will present plans to make culture more accessible and take the first steps toward achieving this goal.

BUDĚJOVICE EXPERIENCED ITS FIRST INTERNATIONAL SKATEBOARDING FESTIVAL OF ITS KIND!
Recently, České Budějovice hosted the unique Skateholders Forum, the first event of its kind in the Czech Republic. In addition to competitions and concerts, participants enjoyed engaging workshops and, most importantly, international discussions, which were the main highlight of the festival.

On Thursday, June 20th, České Budějovice experienced a unique event: the park on Palackého Square resonated with the sound of nearly 200 musicians and hundreds of spectators of all ages. After months of preparation, they performed together for the first and last time in a unique ensemble, playing a new original song about our city.

What is Kul.turista going to do in 2024?
Before Easter, the first meetings of a series of educational workshops (capacity building) took place as part of this year's Kul.turista. Especially for the city communities and then the Platform 28 Houses organizations. Several representatives of a total of six communities/organizations gradually met around one table, presented and developed their projects together, shared their visions and plans, and gave their feedback.
