Time for body
Movement Workshop with Dancer Anna Línová
📅 Thursday, August 8th, from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM
📌 REZI.dance. Komařice, Komařice 17, 373 14
Let's take a moment to reconnect with our bodies! Spend a day together in the small village of Komařice near Římov at a local residency house surrounded by meadows and forests, under the guidance of Slovak dancer and educator Anna Línová. We'll dedicate time and space to connect with our bodies, exploring its calm and dynamic possibilities for self-care. The focus will be on mindful breathing, which has the potential to direct our attention inward, to ourselves and our personal bodily space. We will reflect on the perception of our bodies, their weight, and their relationship to the ground. From this peaceful starting point, we will allow the breath to guide us into movement creation and active movement, which can be a source of our vital approach to the everyday hustle and bustle.
The theoretical basis and inspiration for this somatic movement workshop is the CELL and its space inside and around it, as well as movement between these spaces. Throughout the day, there will be an opportunity to gently observe the direction of our need to engage with ourselves and the surrounding environment.

Anna Línová is a Slovak dancer and educator. She graduated from an eight-year Dance Conservatory and later from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (VŠMU) with a degree in classical dance pedagogy. A few years later, she specialized in Infant Developmental Movement Education at the Body-Mind Centering® school. As a dance performer, she has collaborated extensively with Anka Sedlačková (SK), director Aňa Hlaváčová (SK), and choreographer Ioana M. Popovici (RO). She co-founded and led Movement Games for Babies and Parents at Studio ALTA and has worked as an external dance instructor with DAMU in Prague, JAMU in Brno, and HAMU in Prague. She has long been dedicated to somatic work with the general public at DanceLAB studio. As a performer, she is interested in the everyday, and as a teacher, she focuses on creating various environments and their influence on the learning and educational process.
A fee of 390 CZK is required to participate in the all-day event, which includes refreshments, a communal lunch, and childcare. The capacity is limited to 15 participants. After registration, you will receive a confirmation email with payment details. We keep a waiting list, and in case someone fails to pay on time or withdraws from the course, we will contact the next person on the list.
Childcare is provided during the workshop. During the morning program, the children will be in a separate room, allowing you to focus on yourself. However, we understand that children may need your presence at times. The afternoon "touch" session and the movement in nature are designed with the possibility of children being more involved.
