ART FARM
The ART FARM project focuses on the strategic development and interconnection of residential houses and artistic residency opportunities in the South Bohemian Region. Its goal is to create a functional and sustainable ecosystem that will connect the region with the Czech and European cultural scene and clarify the currently fragmented information about residential spaces and programs.
The basic tool of the project will be the Art Farm online platform – an interactive map of residential locations, a database of open calls, and a space for networking and collaboration between artists, institutions, and communities. The project also includes the creation of a new residential hub in České Budějovice and a system of educational activities for residence operators, cultural managers, and producers. The project supports the sustainable operation of residential houses, professional work with artists, and the effective use of existing infrastructure. By 2028, ART FARM aims to create a stable regional network of residencies that will strengthen international cooperation, provide a base for innovative cultural projects, and contribute to the development of the region as an inspiring place for creativity.
