An overview of our main projects and platforms for public involvement:
For communities ➡ Kul.turista
Kul.turista gives residents the opportunity to take part in creating the programme of České Budějovice 2028. It allows communities to develop their own ideas and projects that strengthen relationships among locals and their connection to the place where they live.
For schools ➡ Creative Minds
We support the development of creativity in children, pupils, and students. We bring creative education programmes directly into primary and secondary school classrooms. The current offer for schools will be published in autumn 2025.
For young collectives ➡ Young Creators
Do you want your cultural collective to step out of the corner and connect with other groups? Do you want to share your projects, learn from others, and find inspiration for your next activities? The Young Creators platform is here for you.
For self-advocates with disabilities ➡ Accessibility Alliance
The Accessibility Alliance is our advisory and consulting platform supporting efforts to make culture accessible to all. It is made up of people with disabilities and people from organisations that provide them with services and support.
For residents who enjoy writing ➡ City Diary
The City Chronicle is a chronicle created by the residents themselves. They choose the topics — they comment on what interests them, what is changing in the city, what stays the same, their memories, or their wishes for the future. In 2025, the project is edited by Ondřej Lipár and illustrated by Lenka Pužmanová.
For residents who want to lend a helping hand ➡ Volunteering
We are looking for volunteers! Join us — you’ll gain new experience, contacts, and the opportunity to see behind the scenes of cultural events.
