We support local cultural organizations in establishing local and international partnerships. As the European Capital of Culture, we are also building strong alliances across Europe – at the level of cities, organizations, and international networks.

We share opportunities for involvement from our partners in the Czech Republic and abroad – primarily for organizations, artists, and creative professionals from České Budějovice and the South Bohemian Region.

Partnerships/platforms and networks

Our organization is an active member of major European networks – Culture Next, Culture Action Europe.

Membership in these platforms brings us a number of benefits:

  • International connections and inspiration – we share experiences with other cities and cultural actors who strive to develop culture as a key element of sustainable development.

  • Cooperation on European projects – we participate in joint initiatives, research, and exchange programs supported by the European Union.

  • Representation and advocacy of cultural interests – through Culture Action Europe, we participate in shaping cultural policies at the European level.

  • Competence development – access to professional workshops, educational programs, and current trends in cultural policy, creative industries, and placemaking.
