Tripoint is a platform connecting the cultural landscape of South Bohemia, Upper and Lower Austria, and Bavaria.
Established as part of the European Capital of Culture České Budějovice 2028, it creates conditions for new partnerships, collaborative projects, and shared cultural initiatives that will continue to strengthen the region beyond the year of 2028. By turning borders into meeting points for exchange, collaboration, and co-creation, TRIPOINT supports knowledge sharing, international partnership building, and the development of projects with a lasting European reach.

We foster collaboration between cultural organisations, artists, and public institutions across the Czech Republic, Austria, and Germany bordering region. We create opportunities for new partnerships, shared experience, and regional cooperation.
We develop.
We help ideas turn into real projects. Through mentoring, project incubation, and expert support, we strengthen the capacity of cultural actors to collaborate in a European context and to develop new cross-border initiatives.
We inspire.
Together, we explore ways towards a fairer, more accessible, and more sustainable cultural environment. We share best practices from abroad and support conditions that benefit artists, organisations, and audiences alike.
We continue.
In 2028, the project will culminate in an international gathering of cultural actors, an online platform connecting organisations across the Tripoint region, and a practical toolkit for cross-border collaboration. These tools will ensure that partnerships and joint projects continue beyond the European Capital of Culture year.
