CAPACITY BUILDING AND COORDINATION OF CREATIVE LEARNING IN THE SOUTH BOHEMIAN REGION

In the South Bohemian Region, creative learning (hereinafter referred to as CL) is pursued by only a few entities, which tend to operate independently.

The aim of the project is to increase the competencies of existing CL instructors and train new ones, and to lay the foundations for the creation of a platform and the development of CL in the South Bohemian Region (hereinafter referred to as SBR), which will lead to systematic and coordinated support. The project activities are focused on detailed mapping, establishing a coordinator and CL methodology institute, networking, creating a concept for the functioning of the CL platform, creating and verifying CL programs, and increasing the knowledge and competencies of (future) CL instructors and professionals from the cultural and creative sectors and education.

The long-term goal is to create a supportive methodological and umbrella platform in the South Bohemian Region that will develop cooperation between schools and cultural actors and institutions, increase the qualifications of professionals, and support interdisciplinary cooperation. To initiate the creation of KU projects and, through them, develop in students: a relationship to culture, the opportunity to learn about the world and themselves through art and creative expression, and critical thinking.

The project is being implemented with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture, the National Recovery Plan, and the European Union.
