What is missing at the music scene in South Bohemia? What would help the artists and organizers? What will České Budějovice – the European Capital of Culture 2028 - bring to the music sector? Come and discuss and take part in a survey about the needs of the regional scene.
20:00 | CONCERT: The Zew
A Viennese musical project carried on the heavenly tones of guitar effects and outsider folk, saturating the themes of insecurity and self-discovery. You may know THE ZEW from their concert with Nichi Mlebo or at the KLANG! festival
21:00 | CONCERT: Katastr
Two veterans (not by age), perfectly conjoined with the colorful Tábor scene, Tygr (C, Waawe, Free Dim Festival) and Sváča (Please the Trees, SLUT), were inspired by electronica and ambient of the 1990s, as well as by krautrock and psychedelia of the 1970s and set out to meet a new sound adventure. If the Czech scene has lacked a band that consistently mined the musical aesthetic of a minimalist crossover of analogue synthesizers and throbbing live percussions, Katastr has filled that gap and works great live and on record. Their debut Hausnumero, as well as another two-track release Pigamoto, was recorded and mixed by the Amak at Golden Hive studio. The result is the absolute essence of brotherhood and the Tábor patriotism.
