Creativity Month has arrived in preschools too!
Creativity, movement, and collaborative crafting – preschool children in České Budějovice and the surrounding area experienced all of this during Creativity Month, which brought a total of twenty workshops to local preschools."
As part of Creativity Month, a total of twenty workshops designed for preschool children took place in kindergartens across Budějovice and other towns in the region. The schools chose from a selection of seven programs led by instructors collaborating with 'Kreativní mysli' (Creative Minds) along with two other instructor duos from BudeCirkus and Švestkový Dvůr.
The exclusively positive feedback from teachers shows that the children participated enthusiastically and cooperated beautifully with one another.

How was the cooperation with the preschools?
I enjoyed the work very much and had a good feeling about the workshops; everything went well, and nothing went wrong. I was a bit more nervous at the preschool in ČB. I felt better about the workshops in Lnáře and Blatná, maybe because I was repeating the workshop, so I was able to better adapt it to the children and their current needs.
Do you have any comments or suggestions regarding the organization?
Everything went smoothly. Communication with the preschool was done over the phone, and everything was quick and flexible.

How did it go, and how did you feel about the workshops?
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. Iveko and I both agreed that we thoroughly enjoyed the whole week from a creative, pedagogical, and artistic standpoint.
IVO: The whole week was full of energy, smiles, and joy. The children were incredibly creative and got involved in everything we offered them, which makes it a real pleasure to work with them.
How was the cooperation with the preschools?
Fantastic! All the preschools provided great facilities for us. They didn’t mind rearranging their space for the children's movement activities at all. Both the adults and the kids cooperated wonderfully and acted as true partners during the session.
Do you have any comments or suggestions regarding the organization?
No, nothing comes to mind. On the contrary, the initial contact through you (Kateřina) worked really well for us, and then the more detailed arrangements were up to us.
IVO: As Kači said, everything went beautifully, and I don't think we had a problem with anything. The only thing left for us to do is to get in touch with the preschools regarding the photo documentation.
Was there anything that surprised you?
Since Creative Learning at Švestkový Dvůr normally takes place in Malovice and the preschools travel to us, it was refreshing to go out with the program directly to the preschools. We will definitely consider a combination of these two options in the future. Thanks for the chance to enjoy this variation again. Both formats are fantastic!
IVO: We really enjoyed it and it was beautiful to watch the children in their own environment. Normally, when they come to Malovice, they are on our turf, so to speak, and they naturally behave differently because of that. Their own environment comes with the rules they already have established at the preschool, whereas at our place, we create and learn those rules together.
