Mowing Below the Dam

On Saturday, June 13, starting early in the morning, a testing scythers' gathering called "Mowing Below the Dam" will take place on Lounkova meadow in Rožnov. Participants can look forward to communal mowing at dawn, working with a scythe, and the atmosphere of a summer morning in the landscape. The day before, on Friday afternoon, June 12, a workshop on scythe maintenance and preparation, called "Náklep" (Peening), will also take place.

The event may informally continue with a social gathering featuring live music in nature, sitting by the campfire, and the possibility of sleeping under the stars. The exact details of the program are yet to be specified.
