Our Lab: Evora 2027 opens to foreign artists

"Our Lab" is an open call for artists (individuals and collectives) and cultural organizations from Europe and beyond. We are looking for projects with proven experience in the field that will explore the theme of VAGAR, the central motif of the Évora 2027 – European Capital of Culture program.

The call covers a wide range of artistic fields, including theater, dance, music, circus, street art, opera, architecture, design, new media, and interdisciplinary projects.

The selected projects will be presented in 2027 in Évora, Portugal, and the Alentejo region, in four types of spaces: cultural, historical, public/urban, and natural. 

Applications can be submitted until January 13, 2026.
