Womenpedia: From little, abundance grows.

This year's workshop of the Womenpedie project in Komařice invites women to search for internal sources of strength, to restore their own landscape, to search for boundaries between the inner and outer world, and to explore their own roots. The art-experiential workshop will be led by artist Kateřina Dobroslava Drahošová and Adéla Zapletalová with Barbora Gábová from the AB Collective project, pioneers of "edible" art, whose work is based on local and seasonal crops and working with natural materials. Together, they will open up a space for sensitive perception of the landscape through drawing, structures of nature, and sensory exploration of seasonality, variety of flavors, and the richness of nature.

The theme of this year's meeting is the inner landscape – a place where abundance, strength, and new growth can arise even from little. Participants can look forward to creative work, sharing, discovering natural resources, as well as a return to roots and a conscious exploration of boundaries.

The workshop opens up themes of the landscape as a source of inner strength, creativity from simplicity, cultivated wildness, deep resources, and the fullness of the local.

We will explore the landscape through drawing, structures, and details – for example, bark as imaginary boundaries – which open up new ways of seeing the external environment of Komařice as well as our own internal images. We will also expand our perception towards the body as a living landscape and its processes. An important part of the gathering will also be the sensory discovery of seasonality and tastes, which deepen our relationship to the place and to ourselves.
