The Permaculture Forum is a flagship program of conferences and seminars promoting international professional cooperation and the acquisition of new skills for professionals in the cultural and creative sectors.
The strategic goal of the Permaculture Forum is to utilize the current know-how of European Capitals of Culture for the benefit of cultural and creative actors in the form of a conference and follow-up practical seminars.
The entire event will be framed by the theme of permaculture in the context of the development of internationalization and sustainability of the so-called cultural core (performing arts, visual arts, etc.).
The aim of the Permaculture Forum is to develop the competencies of individual cultural actors in the field of cultural management and artistic approaches, which will increase their competitiveness in the Czech and international environment.
The main event of the Permaculture Forum will be a one-day conference in February entitled "Year of Rooting," referring to the sharing of competencies acquired during the implementation of the ECoC title in the Czech cultural and creative sector. This conference brings together knowledge gathered throughout the year of ECoC preparations and will be complemented by a one-day workshop. The Permaculture Forum also includes three one-day events combining a professional seminar with international participation and an output for the public. These events are linked to specific ECoC program activities, which subsequently form the basis for the conference part.
