GALLERY OKRAJE

Gallery Okraje was founded in 2022 in Tábor as an independent space for contemporary art, connecting the local community with artists from across the Czech Republic and abroad. It was established by graphic designer Patrik Svoboda and artist Lucie Svobodová Mičíková.

The gallery operates as a platform for exhibitions, artist-led projects, educational activities, and interdisciplinary collaborations. Through its programme it strives to transcend both geographical and generational boundaries — presenting established and emerging artists alike and supporting experimental forms of creative practice.

Alongside its exhibition programme, Okraje is also dedicated to the production of publications and educational projects for children and adults.
