CULTURE VOLYNĚ

Culture Volyně is an organisational unit of the town of Volyně, responsible for cultural and social life in the town and its surroundings. Until 2025 it operated as a contributory organisation bringing together culture, the town library, and the town museum under a single institution.

We operate a town cinema with regular screenings of audience-favourite films, as well as lectures and discussions. The Na Nové hall provides a venue for theatre performances, concerts, balls, and graduation parties. In recent years both the library and the museum have undergone extensive renovation, providing modern spaces for the public.

During the summer months we organise a music programme at the First Republic-era open-air swimming pool, where events such as Letopruhy, Summer Punk Party, and the metal festival ETEF take place. Our goal is to offer a diverse cultural programme for the residents of Volyně and visitors from the wider region.
