NAPLAVENO

Naplaveno was founded in 2019.

We are based in the small hamlet of Stružinec in the Jistebnická vrchovina nature park. We have a barn with a dance and theatre hall and additional space for gatherings, communal cooking, discussions, and lectures.

We love working with the local landscape, surroundings, and people. We connect the urban and the rural, and we nurture culture in the Jistebnice area and its surroundings.

We founded the (not only) family festival Péče, co-create the St Wenceslas Wander in the Nadějkov area, engage with the practice of Walking, organise the seminar Us in the Landscape, the Landscape in Us, deliver lectures and discussions, protect the local landscape, and serve as a residency centre for theatre makers, dancers, and visual artists.

In the past we organised carnival celebrations; currently we are exploring how to connect local associations and active individuals, how to remain active while managing the role of a parent, and how to care for one another.
