TŘEBOŇ 105

At Třeboň 105, historical heritage meets contemporary concept. Visual art, film, theatre, and music. And above all, people.

Třeboň 105 is a centre for visual art where, under one roof (and one maple crown), a gallery, cinema, theatre, and music production work together in synergy. The genius loci of the original bourgeois Renaissance house and the decision to give it an artistic purpose have defined what makes Stopětka unique. Within its historic setting, contemporary artists and alternative art forms find their space.

Through its unconventional programming and above-standard technical facilities, Stopětka invites the crossing of boundaries between disciplines, experimentation, and the connecting of different artistic fields. Our vision is not to confine art within four walls, but to bring it into the public space, to seek diverse conceptual solutions, to introduce contemporary visual art to the region, and to present projects that connect Stopětka with the wider world — co-creating a welcoming and stimulating atmosphere and a space people want to return to.

This is also supported by the VIDINY festival of visual art, which we have been organising since 2024. The VIDINY festival creates a platform for interdisciplinary encounters between artists, creators, and professional audiences, and provides space and high-quality facilities for the creation and presentation of contemporary visual art both at Stopětka and at other venues across the town.
