The Urban Field symposium opens a debate on the future of cities and landscapes.

How can cities better respond to climate change, work with the landscape, and create high-quality public spaces for everyday life? These are the exact topics that the Urban Field symposium will address, bringing together experts, the cultural scene, and the general public.

The program will feature inspiring lectures, experience sharing, and discussions on how to find a more sustainable approach to urban development and the relationship between humans and the surrounding landscape. At the same time, the symposium will open up questions about community life, the care for public spaces, and opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration.

The event is part of the České Budějovice 2028 – European Capital of Culture project, which long-term promotes themes of sustainability, culture, and the quality of urban life.
